Felicity Jones In Theory by Olivier Theyskens – 2014 Met Gala

Felicity Jones In Theory by Olivier Theyskens - 2014 Met Gala

Felicity Jones glided down the red carpet on Monday (May 5) in New York City for the 2014 Met Gala.

As we all know, the British actress likes to take a walk on the dark side; here she graduates from her favoured black to a rich deep emerald-green hue.

Her custom Theory by Olivier Theyskens bonded-silk gown with a sweetheart neckline and full skirt was styled with a matching clutch and Ana Khouri black-diamond, black-gold and black-pearl ‘Charlotte’ ring.

While I would’ve loved to have seen her in something with colour, and a chic updo, one can’t deny how breathtaking she looks in this gown.

She looks very elegant and feminine in the gown, but an updo was really needed here.

Her dress looked black to me at first lol.
I’m not a fan of this look tbh. The sweetheart neckline doesn’t work well with the straps and her hair is too fussy.

    SO CLOSE.
Had she done her hair in a more polished way this would have been a perfect look.

The gown is stunning. Sadly the hairstyle weighs the look down.

I LOVE this gown, I think it’s perfect.

The dress is nice (even though black is kind of boring), but the hair and makeup are a total letdown. From the neck up she looks like she could just be out running errands.

Yeah not a fan at all

The dress isn’t really anything special to me.

Ah I didn’t see this look in any other slide show! It’s gorgeous and perfectly on theme. Maybe another color would have been more memorable, but I still think it’s beautiful.

Felicity certainly brought some drama with this dress! Very well done. I too wish for a different hairstyle though.

This is a great look, I only wish she had done something better with her hair.

her fae reminded me of Scarlett Johansson here. The hair is not working. The silhoeutte of the dress is great but the fabric looks a bit cheap–plus I wish it was a bolder color.
