Kacey Musgraves In Armani Prive – 2014 Grammy Awards

Kacey Musgraves In Armani Prive – 2014 Grammy Awards

Kacey Musgraves wowed on the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The Best New Artist nominee wore an Armani Privé Fall 2013 dress from the ‘Nude’ collection.

The soft pink sleeveless gown, featuring multiple nude cascading tulle tiers scattered with light gold and silver Swarovski crystals centered around a large bow made the star look feminine and ethereal.

Musgraves added some more sparkle with Forevermark diamonds, Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ silver shoes and rounded up her romantic look with light makeup, pale lips, a simple side bun.

    Too princess-y for my liking.

    More Oscars than Grammys.

Just no. I can’t. She could do a lot better,.

Unflattering. The word of this night is unflattering.

Well, I think she looks undeniably, ethereally gorgeous! But not for the Grammys! This is too sweet and prim for this event. Even if she had worn this to a country awards show, I would like it better.

      I agree.

    • Yeliz January 27, 2014 at 09:35 #

      I agree as well.

Gorgeous, sexy and feminine on the model, princessy on Kacey, she is not selling it to me. Perhaps not quite right for her or the event.

+1 I love it on the model but it’s not working at all on her…

Is each layer too short or too long? Too poof-y or too flat? Something’s not right with the way it’s falling over her legs, like she has pants underneath, and the length seems awkward, too.

I think it’s a very sweet dress, but gives too much faux-vintage-backwoods-hipster wedding vibes. Someone has this on their pinterest board, I’m certain.

Oh no! I’m so disappointed! This was my favourite dress from this collection…it is breathtakingly beautiful!! (If you haven’t seen it in motion on the runway then please do…it is gorgeous!!) But why is this person who I’ve never heard of wearing it to the Grammys?? It’s lost all it’s whimsical appeal! I wanted Cate Blanchett or Nicole Kidman to wear it and do it justice… #sadface

    • Ahot January 27, 2014 at 08:09 #

This dress needed someone super thin to make it work. I think even Cate & Nicole would look wide in this.
LMAO @ “But why is this person who I’ve never heard of wearing it to the Grammys??”

This was my favorite dress on red carpet. She looked beautiful

  12. Jess2 January 27, 2014 at 05:49 #

She is beautiful and I like her styling but I don’t like the dress itself or the dress on her.

I love the photo of the model on the runway… the movement, the way she holds the back, the slight smile on her face… gorgeous.
