Gwyneth Paltrow In Prabal Gurung – Licensing Expo 2013

Gwyneth Paltrow In Prabal Gurung - Licensing Expo 2013

Gwyneth Paltrow delivered a keynote address at the Licensing Expo 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday.

The actress, who attended with her personal trainer Tracy Anderson, wore a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 look which consisted of an ivory silk-charmeuse halter blouse with an organza ruffle paired with straight-leg black pants.

Gwyneth’s version of the top doesn’t feature the baroque print, but it does feature the same gold-studded detail at the neckline.

As someone who is a fan of Gwynnie’s shoe closet, I’m disappointed that I can’t see what she was serving us on this occasion.

No changes to the hair; however, the actress did add a beautiful pair of statement earrings to her look.

I don’t like the top and I think she should have selected a better bra !
And her hairstyle is, as usual, a huge no !

I wish the blouse had the baroque print. I’m not fond of satin so all that white space is too shiny for me. Apart from that this is a good look from her.

Everything about this look is a massive ‘no’.

it’s just an okay look for me. If she had worn her hair up and keep the print on the top i would have loved this look.

Agree!! The hair and the print was required!

I love her hair style. Hope she ignores the criticism and keeps it

+1 Frankly, if we look closely, most celebs stick to one hairstyle.

Big no, and the pants are way too tight.

  7. Rebecca Z June 19, 2013 at 14:11 #

yawn. She should have selected the runway pants, and left the top alone.

    Boring

I love the effect of the ruffles on the runway, doesn’t work when you’re standing still sadly.

I feel she’s made the look her own, foregoing the pattern on the top and going with just white. I appreciate that, but the high waist pants aren’t working for me.

What does she have against bras?!!

  11. Pedro June 19, 2013 at 18:35 #

    She looks amazing!

    Really chic

Maybe if the blouse had the print, it would have covered the fact that she appears to be wearing no bra. That’s what bothers me about this look. Otherwise, it’s quite nice.

I actually really like this, and I love the earrings. Her hair is the same yes, but if my hair looked that good, I wouldn’t feel the need to change it up either.

I can forgive the hair here, because her legs go for miles in those pants!

This kind of blouse is very unflattering, I think. It looks like a cocktail napkin that someone sewed fluff onto. The pants aren’t flattering, her hair is samey, and so this look is just rather dull and unfortunate all around.
