Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Christian Dior – amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Christian Dior - amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Opting to go slighty off-piste, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted to go short this evening at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The British model/actress wore a summery look starting with a Christian Dior creme bustier and a skirt with an asymmetrical hemline.

Her flirty strapless frock was styled with on trend white Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, sultry eyes and wavy side-parted tresses.

Should she’ve gone long?

I wish the fit around the bust was better. I like the short version but the look needed something more. It is Cannes after all and if you aren’t donning an OTT gown then some OTT bling is in order 🙂

    Beautiful, as always.

This would have been a fantastic look at another event, but it is underwhelming for a gala.

This is awesome but for another event. Wish she wore a gown.

For a photocall, this would be a simple but striking minimalist look. But for a gala? Sorry Rosie, you’re lovely, but this is all wrong.

Perfect look, I especially love the her make-up and hair! I would love just some more edgy shoes and a bracelet.

It looks badly executed, the hem of the dress looks badly done. I don’t know whow Raf Simons does it but he makes Dior’s seamstress look bad time and time again, his designs always look badly done and lazy and ugh. Bring the Dior glamour back.

Had she gone long this would’ve been a wedding dress. I love this whole look, I feel like she’s back to her best again, finally!

Agreed. A long version would’ve been too bridal. She looks gorgeous but I can’t deny I miss a pop of colour or some jewelry. A diamond necklace or oversized ring and a colourful shoe or clutch would’ve been fantastic for this look.

    Beautiful yet effortless

She looks gorgeous (she is gorgeous, that is).
But this is a photocall look, Rosie.

No – I love this dress and think it’s still formal enough for the red carpet. This is Rosie’s best look in a long time.

I really love the simple elegance of it. It represents the best of the “new” Dior but I don’t think it was event appropriate.

The make-up is stunning though and the hair is on point. I just wish she had worn it somewhere else.

I quite like it, but this only works because she has a gorgeous face and body, it would have been very boring on an average looking girl. Hair and make up are great.

On the one hand, I absolutely adore this clean, crisp look.
On the other hand, this is an evening gala at Cannes. I think she should have stepped it up.

I like this, but am missing some bling.

  16. MissCru May 24, 2013 at 00:58 #

Come on! She is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley! She is a SUPERMODEL! She can wear everything, and chose THIS dress? This is so boring…

  17. Alicat May 24, 2013 at 00:51 #

I love the simplicity of this. She is so beautiful she does not need the frou frou. Perfection.

    • Yeliz May 24, 2013 at 08:47 #

I agree as well. Simple but gorgeous.

okay, it is time that white pointy pumps retire because they have yet to compliment a single outfit so far. Also, this dress is soo plain, it does nothing for her and even her beauty could do nothing to elevate this dress.

  19. Nat39 May 24, 2013 at 00:47 #

This is too dull and plain, def. should’ve gone long.

    • Nat39 May 24, 2013 at 01:34 #

…and way underwhelming for the event imo.

    • noo May 24, 2013 at 05:54 #

she looked better at the airport :S
