Datoka Fanning In Chanel – Front Row @ Chanel Cruise 2014

Elle Fanning In Chanel - Front Row @ Chanel Cruise 2014

Can you believe that the Resort 2014 collections are already here?

Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his Cruise 2014 collection for Chanel yesterday in Singapore, which was attended by Dakota Fanning.

The actress, who was decked out in head-to-toe Chanel, wore a slightly modified version of a Fall 2013 look which took to the runway.

She opted to wear her strapless A-line dress without the sheer vest, plus she opted to wear her chain-accented ankle boots sans leather leg-warmers, and swapped the chunky Chanel jewels for a simple bracelet and oversized ring, with an obligatory Chanel chain-accented bag completing the look.

As always, the hair and makeup is extremely lacklustre.

Do you prefer Elle’s or the runway styling?

That’s Dakota. She looks nice, but like Gwyneth, I wish she’d do something different with her hair. Love the boots!

I can’t believe that the Resort 2014 collections are already here. Time really flies.

I’m not liking this look, especially the ankle boots.

    FC, you wrote Elle Fanning.

That hair is a disaster, is there some sort of comb shortage of which I am unaware? I do prefer her styling to that of the model’s, but both are underwhelming.

Isn’t that Dakota? Not a fan of this look sadly….

I don´t usually prefer Dakota´s (or Elle´s for that matter) styling over anything. This is an exception.

If it was someone else wearing this maybe, but I don´t think she could have pulled off the runway version, so I prefer that she was authentic enough to go for a laidback, less complicated approach.

    I love it too.

Minus the very lackluster hair and makeup, I like it, her presentation is more off-the-runway-friendly and I think it’s working for her.

Where was this when she needed it for the Met Gala?

Dakota has been killing it lately. She usually looks kind of frumpy or like she’s missing something but she was definitely the most surprising at the met gala for me and i love this look too. Not everyone needs makeup, she’s beautiful.

Boring, too short, unflattering look; overstyled on the bottom and understyled on the top.
