Emilia Clarke was back on the red carpet again last night for the ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ Broadway Opening Night, held at The Edison Ballroom in New York City.
The British actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress on this occasion with a Pomellato ‘Colpo di Fulmine’ garnet and blue sapphires ring.
After wearing a bold-hued blue gown on Monday, it was classic black on Wednesday night.
Her sexy dress featured a black bodysuit with a sheer overlay accented with daisy appliqués and a velvet waistband.
I’m surprised to be saying the white pumps, which continue to be a red carpet shoe of choice for celebrities, add an interesting contrast.
Some of you thought her eye makeup was too heavy last time out, so you may be shocked to discover that she opted to go even heavier last night, and this was not her stage makeup.
I love that she gave the look an edge with her bold shimmering silver-and-black eyes and an orange lip colour.
The look could’ve been very one-dimensional without it.

I don’t like the dress and the shoes. The make up makes her look so different, I didn’t recognize her at first ! Not a great look for me.
This makeup artist should be fired.
+1 It’s tragic every time she steps on the red carpet! Such a pity, cause she’s lovely.
I agree! It’s clownish and she’s nearly unrecognizable!
I agree. I took one look at her and said yikes!
She is such a beautiful young woman. Why oh why are they putting so much makeup on her lovely face.
Enough with the “sheer skirt over granny pants” trend! It never looked good in the first place, but now it has also become BORING and so deja vu.
I don’t even mind the strong eye make up, but what’s up with the foundation? She looks ghostly.
Not her best outing.
+1
Almost everything she has worn during the last few days was either bad or made worse by unflattering make-up. I think she’s gorgeous, but in comparison, she’s being upstaged by the younger stars, especially Maisie Williams.
I’m SO with Nat as regards the “Enough with the sheer skirt over granny pants” trend!”. Also hate the harsh make-up and the white shoes
Overall, not at all a good look for her.
True that she has made a boring look a bit better, but the dress itself is nothing to write about. Overall a disappointing look.
Her makeup have been off lately. I like everything else but the makeup
Just another look-at-my-panties look from D&G.
I’m ok with her makeup, she looks beautiful again.
I think her makeup looks fine. The dress is nice but I am tired of the see-through trend and white shoes trend.
she’s been working on the stage, last night on Broadway. It’s not in HD and it’s not Hollywood, hence the heavy handed makeup.
Her eyebrows… Way off!!
This is a bad example of lining. She should’ve lined the skirt and left the top half alone. The belt is uninspiring as are the shoes-and her hair! Her makeup on the other hand was clearly inspired by the circus!
I agree with everyone here who finds the dress a bore (at best) and the make-up questionable.
Now let’s move on to the most glaring problem: Why is she wearing white pumps with this dress????
I don’t share FC’s general dislike of them by any means, but there is no rhyme or reason to them here. Is this a case of totally BLIND conformity to the latest fad? I don’t get it.
The white pumps is what bothers me here the most. There is absolutely NO reason for them whatsoever to be here, I completely agree.
Total miss.
1) Love the dress–IF it were lined instead of a sheer skirted mess.
2) White pumps with this? Seriously? I don’t usually *hate* them, but they are SO wrong here.
3) her makeup is GHASTLY. My gosh.
The makeup is even worst than last time.
