She definitely was perfect. A million times better than that awful ballgown.
It was hard to choose the women’s winner, but I voted for Naomi Watts, she looked stunning at the Oscars. I also like Nina Dobrev.
When it comes to men, it’s much easier, when Eddie Redmayne is on the list, I go for him!
Same for Eddie! I Reached a point where I don’t bother looking at the rest of the guys, I just blindly click on Eddie haha not objective I know but who cares ?! But I objectively vote for the ladies!

From the ladies poll…
One and two in no particular order because I love both looks so much, Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts. Ditto for my three and four, Charlize Theron and Amy Adams.
At number five I would put any of the Wizard of Oz girls, including Rachel Weisz, in any of their looks. Although perhaps I did love Michelle Williams in Burberry Prorsum a little more than the dress selected here.
The rest of the contenders look good, but I could think of ten other women who in my opinion where better dressed than these, so not fussed about them… I would even repeat Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams for their Oscar party frocks!
From the mens…
My vote goes to Daniel Day-Lewis. Runner ups in no particular order and equal measures, Eddie Redmayne and Hugh Jackman.

For the men poll I don’t know why we even bother to vote because Eddie seems to win no matter what he wears… Hugh Jackman was the best dressed for me.
Channing Tatum for me, but I know what you mean about Eddie. The man could wear a potato sack and still win the poll.
As for the ladies, Nina and Naomi were my favorites.

I can’t believe JLaw’s Vanity Fair dress isn’t here. I’m weeping silently right now in mourning.
I voted JLaw’s In Dior because, even if I actually liked other looks better (Naomi Watts, even Jennifer’s vanity fair look), the Dior gown will BY FAR remain the most iconic look of the night. Expecially with all those pics of her and the dress both looking really beautiful when she fell up the stairs.
It was her night and she nailed it (not only fashionwise).
So sad, by the way, that the same thing can’t be’ said about Anne H.
For the men, I’m the biggest fan of Eddie, but here I voted DDL. love the navy tux.

Daniel Day-lewis is perfect, he’s my best dressed man
I have to vote for Jennifer Lawrence. Like many here, I am skeptical of her collaboration with Dior. I was not confident that they would come up with a winning Oscar look — but they did.
Nina Dobrev in Naeem Khan and Mila Kunis in Versace are my runners-up. I like Michelle, Amy, and Charlize too, though not quite as much.
Among the men in classic formal wear, I like Channing Tatum best, followed by Hugh Jackman and Daniel Day Lewis. My favorite more casual look is Common’s. Handsome!
Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t my favourite (she was still in my top 3 though) but without a doubt, it was Jennifer’s grand moment at the event, her look stood out and made the kind of bigger impact you expect to see at the Oscars. Her after party look was great too but I’m glad that she went with something more memorable for the main event.

Diane Kruger sticks out like a sore thumb, a really awful look for her, I’m baffled she made it this far with only 3% of votes in the preliminary poll.
Chris Hemsworth was on the last week’s poll with this look (which I liked).
Where is Jessica Chastain? She was sexy and timeless in Armani Privé, she should be there instead of Mila or Michelle…

Yeah, she looked perfectly classy. Will never understand the appeal of Amy Adam’s drab princess dress.
I’m also upset about Jessica. It was Old Hollywood glamour at its best, she was easily the most gorgeous of them all, that photo didn’t show how superb that Armani Prive creation actually was, forget bright hues, green or blue, etc…it was that bronze undertone that worked with Jessica’s compexion and hair colour in a very subtle way to a mesmerizingly stunning effect, not to mention the impeccable fit and that divine hair and makeup. It was a timeless classic.
She didn’t get enough votes to move on unfortunately, I understand, but Amy and Zoe are the lucky ones here, they got free passes.
I feel your pain – I couldn’t bring myself to vote for any of the women, even though there were some I liked, but Jessica was the singular one that captivated me at the Oscars!
Commiserating with you and Nat39. Jessica Chastain’s figure in that dress was perfection, even more so than in the electric blue Mouret (which I also loved). The incredible and unusual copper color enhanced by that divine silken web — well, I’m still knocked out. I ended up voting for Naomi Watts as her figure also has never looked better and that color, her eyes, wow. Armani — I bowed down to the Italian maestro on Oscar night.
I couldn’t agree more i just don’t understand what the appeal is with the giant ball-gowns, they just become to much. Jessica looked sexy, beautiful, and classic without bring over the top.
I completely agree with all of you. That Dior gown that Jennifer wore was not that great to me. Jessica looked stunning. One of her best looks.

My best dressed was definitely Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein but from this list I chose Mila Kunis! As for the men I voted for Christos Garkinos in Paul Smith because I love the red and that it was so different! Thanks for the hard work this week

Seriously. I love JLaw as much as the next person, but in that Dior?! Now the CK look would have been a different story. I might have been giving her the edge over Lily Collins cos it was her night, but she really did look fantastic in that silver number.

I’m disappointed at the results for men. People keep voting for Eddie Redmayne although this week was amazing in men’s fashion!
