Kerry Washington hit the red carpet on Sunday at the 2013 Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Nominated under the best picture category for ‘Django Unchained’ Kerry sparkled in a custom Miu Miu gown. This is not the first time during award season the actress chose a Miu Miu design, as she sported an equally stunning dress by the label at the Golden Globes.
Kerry brightened up the red carpet in a strapless coral-hued dress with a sweet bow detail at the bustline and a sparkly bodice with silver beading and coral paillettes.
Kerry styled her beautiful gown with a matching coral satin clutch from Prada and a light-catching diamond cocktail ring from Fred Leighton and Chopard earrings.
Kerry’s beauty style for the night really let her dress shine, as she chose to go with a natural makeup look with a nude lip, grey metallic eyeshadow, and her hair in a soft wave with an on-trend center part.

Kerry lacks height and gets easily stumpified in long skirt, no exception here, she looks really short. Other than that, it´s a very pretty look and still gets thumbs up from me.

This was my favourite. This picture doesn’t do the gown justice. It was the only gown I audibly ‘oohed’ when I saw it live. I just love the bow detail – it makes it. My only issue were the two slight creases near the bottom. I also don’t think it needs the train. Overall however, it was a breath of fresh air in a sea of dishwasher noncolour.

Gorgeous color, love the sparkle. Not quite as happy with hair and shoes but still an exceptional look.
My only problem is that this makes her look quite short. Other than that this is gorgeous, vibrant, and really one of the best so far!!! I love the bodice, and is glowing!

I can’t believe that the girl that gave us all those stunning creations, unforgetable looks, let me down. I mean, don’t get me wrong she looks beautiful, but Jesus… this is just a normal look, in an always extraordinary girl.
This had such potential but the fitting is really off.
I normally don’t like Miu Miu, so when I saw the title I was immediately disappointed. But then I saw the picture and I was amazed!! This is an stunning look!! I love it!! I’m not so sure about the hair and the shoes but she looks so gorgeous and that dress is breathtaking. One of my best dressed for sure!!
I love the color, and the detailing on the bodice is mesmerizing. Her hair is falling down her shoulders so gracefully, and all in all I think she pulls this off flawlessly, this is in my top 2 so far, just behind Naomi Watts.

i dunno. the people i expected most from hugely disappointed me. and kerry washington is one of them. i unfortunately don’t like the styling. the coral pumps r a bit too much for me. and the hair is just ok. i like the gown but the trail is awkward. i cant get over her oscar de la renta and giles awesomeness.
