After a stunning sweep down the red carpet line at Saturday’s ‘Les Miserables’ photo call and premiere at the Berlinale Film Festival, Anne Hathaway headed to England for another grand entrance at the 2013 BAFTA Awards, hosted on Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London.
The Leading Actress nominee continued her ode to classic glamour, appropriately opting this time for a selection from a British designer, Burberry.
With this column gown, she kept the monochrome trend she’s preferred this season going strong.
The cool short sleeves and the shiny circular studs on the bodice kept the straightforward dress interesting enough. But ornamental bangles seemed a bit out of place for this sleekly modern look.
Anne’s chic pixie crop allows her to wear high necklines like this one well, while her bubblegum-pink lippie added a nice shot of colour to her bright smile on the red carpet.

Love it! Very classy.
I just collapsed of boredom. The dress is lovely, but it would’ve had more impact had it been the black punctuation mark to a string of more varied looks.
Anne has such a beautiful complexion and vibrant personality – WHY is she dressing solely in navy and black?
Such a wasted opportunity of an awards season for her.

Love the simplicity and the sleek silhouette, and Anne carries off this look so well, the out of place bangles do not go, would’ve loved this look completely had it not been for those bangles.
My favorite look from this event so far. Classy and interesting, though still black. I just wish she’d stop combing her hair INTO HER EYES, it bugs me. Makeup is good and so is the clutch. I might have worn one rather than two bangles.

I feel like we have all forgotten how amazing this gal USED to be and therefore we are excited about this basic looks. Remember when she use to give us goose bumps with her jaw dropping red carpet moments?? those are long gone and I swear since shes cut her hair everything’s gone down hill.
