For the guys, I gave it to the latecomer: Eddie
AGAIN. If he keeps winning BDOTW, he’ll have quite the popular streak!
For the girls, it was TOUGH.
Lucy Liu and Camilla Belle were both so amazing I could barely pick, but I eventually gave it to Lucy. My runnersup are Marion, Tina, Kate, and Beatrice. I loved elements of Jaimie’s gown, but not enough to vote for it.
Thanks for the fabulous converage, FC!
my pleasure…have a good one.
Camilla Belle and Eddie Redmayne.
Ditto.
Women = NONE OF THE ABOVE!
Men = Ryan Seacrest wins it, because of his ultimate accessory, the ACTUAL best dressed woman of the week, Julian Hough!!!! How you could possibly leave her off the list is absolutely beyond me!!!!
It was very easy to leave her off.
Good one FC………
Funny, I keep wishing she wasn’t in the pic, the rockabilly edge she gave to the look is an eyesore. Seacrest, on the other hand, is impeccable and shines on his own, he would’ve gotten my vote if it wasn’t for Eddie.
That Monique dress was quite possibly the worst thing ML has ever created and just as bad as Halle Berry’s desperate moment last Sunday. To top off the tacky dress was her desperate attempt to steal the spotlight with her poorly styled hair and makeup. Worst of the week and thank you for leaving off.
My vote went to Kate Hudson in McQueen. She wasn’t nominated so I loved her laid back approach to not wanting or needing to steal the spotlight from the talent that was being honored.
Emily Blunt in Michael Kors and Nicholas Hoult in Dolce & Gabbana.
Have a relaxing weekend, FC.
that is my plan
thanks x you too x
is also my choice
ladies: all of them
Men: very easy Eddie
Ladies
1. Miranda Kerr
2. Tina Fey
3. Camilla Belle
Gents:
1. Bradley Cooper
2. Eddie Redmayne
3. Ben Affleck
Enjoy your weekend, FC! Great coverage all week.
thanks…have a great weekend. x
women!!! how do you choose? lucy lui, kate mara, and emily blunt are my top three. haven’t cast my vote yet.
Oh, he looks just as good in Gucci as he does in Burberry! It’s official, I have Redmaynia©!
Lol…I like it
Emily Blunt. The more I see that look, the more I like it, which is not so true of other GG Award looks. My runners-up would be Camilla Belle and Miranda Kerr.
I vote Eddie Redmayne for the men.
Kate Mara gets all the cute Dior dresses. It’s time to up your game Ms. Lawrence!
I went for Kate Hudson. Even though sometimes I think the look is a bit dynasty (the show) / vampiric, it was the one look that made me really take notice.
I love the long sleeves and the hair down (if it had been up, i think the vampiric-ness of the look would have increased).
As a side note, I can’t see the appeal of Lucy Lui’s dress. It stumpifies her, making her look about as wide as she is tall. I am also not too sure about the color combinations. It was pretty on the model, but not BDOTW for me… especially on Lucy Lui
I didnt get the appeal either. The gown is gorgeous but I wish someone taller had worn it
It is a memorable dress, but I don’t understand the love. I dislike the color combinations. I didn’t think it was that flattering.
+1
I didnt like Lucy Lui’s dress too
I went with Emily….but if Miranda or Lucy wins, I will be okay with that. More than okay.
And while I went with Ryan Seacrest, I am totally okay with Eddie leading right now. I actually liked his suit this time.
Have an awesome week FC <3
Eddie revolutionized the menswear department. Thank you Tom Hooper (Les Misérables director) for casting Eddie and introducing the world to a male fashion icon.
)
I dare any dude to beat Eddie while he’s on the poll as well ! (I think only Ryan can
I hesitated for the girls, between Tina, Kate and Miranda, but I wanted to salute Tina’s efforts as this was her greatest look ever.
And thank you FC for your incredible coverage, sometimes I wonder if you get any sleep.
Have a great weekend
I make up for it at the weekend
Thank you x
All dress are good. The dress of a fahion styles for women are very creative and fabulous to look . But I really love a women wearing white dress. Because it look simple but, sexy…
What a week!!
The ladies were on fire!
This is a tough one to call. Usually the winner is apparent pretty quickly, but Miranda and Lucy have been neck and neck since the beginning, with Emily right on their heels. Not to mention Kate not far behind.
No Nicole Richie?
Camilla Belle (don’t get the love for the Lucy Liu look sorry) and Eddie Redmayne (love a blue suit and he wears it so well) for me!
Lucy Liu in Carolina Herrera & Eddie Redmayne in Hugo Boss .
1. Sofia Vergara
Perfect fit, perfect color, just perfect. Sure, she couldn’t walk very easily in it. But being best dressed sometimes means sacrificing mobility.
