Gwei Lun-Mei In Alexander McQueen – 2012 Golden Horse Awards

Due to Thanksgiving, the red carpet has been quiet in the US. Thankfully, the 49th Annual Golden Horse Awards took place in Ilan, Taiwan this weekend, with many of our favourite Asian stars taking to the red carpet in gorgeous gowns to ensure we are fully entertained this Monday morning.

First up is Gwei Lun-Mei, who was crowned best leading actress for her role in ‘Girlfriend Boyfriend’ aka ‘GF*BF’.

She wore an Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 gown with a plunging neckline.

I love that she styled the pale pink gown with the metal bow belt that the model wore in the lookbook picture, and that she didn’t over accessorize, adding just a simple silver bracelet and studded earrings.

Barely there makeup for a fresh faced look provided the finishing touches.

You may remember that Jessica Chastain wore this same dress to the ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Cannes Film Festival premiere & opening ceremony back in May.
