Anna Kendrick opted for all neutral hues for the 2012 Artios Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.
The actress wore a Halston Heritage fitted sleeveless dress.
Her cream sheath dress with leather trims was styled with the same Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Spikes’ clutch we saw on Kerry Washington earlier, but in nude.
The nude clutch perfectly matched Anna’s nude pumps.
Even though I find this look one note, I have to admit that (surprisingly) I really like it.

A bit too bland teamed with the nude accessories.
Her style just never excites me. No matter what she wears it feels like deja vu.

I think it’s because the dress fits her really well and the color looks good on her. I know that fashion should be exciting and trendy but celebrities most of the time let the dress wear them and not the other way around. This time, Anna wears the outfit.
It does look lovely. Less fussy, more streamlined looks are better for her, maybe she’s realized that.

Lately, she seems more confident on the RC.
she looks really pretty but the dress is pretty boring.
I appreciate that it’s not too fussy or overembellished, but it’s rather boring and washes her out in my opinion.

It’s probably because for once she doesn’t look like she’s trying so hard. It seems to suit her personality better than some of the other things she’s worn.
