Dita von Teese In Dita von Teese Collection – Dita von Teese Collection Decades Launch

Back in October last year, Dita von Teese launched her dress collection exclusively through Australian retailer David Jones.

Last night she celebrated the launch of her collection at the chic vintage boutique Decades in LA.

She wore a blue gown with a rose-print gown with red straps.

Along with her red-hot lips, the burlesque queen carried a red Christian Louboutin ‘Eden’ satin clutch which has ruffled rosettes on the top and a red leather tassel on the bottom.

Does this look feel familiar? That’s because Dita wore the pink, shorter version of this dress to the Australia launch.

I know i should like this but those straps really bother me. They look a bit cheap to me – would have been better strapless IMO.

Yeah, I would have liked it better sans straps (maybe with a pleated cap sleeve?) I do like the vintagey look, though.

If there was ever a question that I am a Dita devotee, it’s quite clear now since I remembered instantly that she had already worn a different version of this dress.
I agree with the commenter above me, though. I’d prefer it without straps. They don’t even look properly fitted.

LOVE it (!!) the full length version works better, loving the straps, her retro styling works so well with the dress, the cute bag is a great addition, picture-perfect, BDOTW worthy for me.
