Nicole Kidman looked sensational when she took to the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday evening for the 2012 Emmy Awards.
The Australian actress wore an Antonio Berardi Spring 2013 gown, which was presented exactly a week ago during London Fashion Week. Now that’s what you call fast fashion.
Her white column dress which striking blue sequin embroidered details was worn without the matching bolero we saw on the runway, to reveal a sleek sleeveless look.
Peacock-blue Christian Louboutin ‘Vampanodo’ sandals with a bow accent on the heel and Fred Leighton carved lavender jade-and-diamond pendant earrings completed her look.
This is one of Nicole’s best looks in a while. So good that I’m willing to overlook that very familiar center-parted hairstyle.

The hair is so 2002-2004 but the dress is amazing. Glad to see Antonio Berardi on the EMMY RC!
LOVE it, don´t mind the hair, it works well with the look, probably my favourite so far.
She looks nice, but I first saw this less than an hour ago and I’ve already forgotten it, and I can stil remember looks she wore in 2004 and 2005, she’s lost the magic she once had.

Wow! When I saw this dress on the runway I said “if I were a celebrity stylist I would be all over that gown!” Didn’t expect to see it this so soon though lol.
It misses for me and I can’t put my finger on why.

I agree. I’m a bit befuddled…something about this glamourous, avant-garde look fall flat on her. If Zoe Saldana had worn it–or perhaps Cate Blanchett, with the shrug–I would have loved it. But Nicole isn’t selling it to me. I do love the dress, though.

i think the bodice should have left out the white (shoulders, etc) or she should have kept the jacket. the full bodice made it stepford, which made it nicole, which made it (at least lately) boring.

I think we have our best dressed – she is given us interesting fashion – So did Julianne it’s true but I think her dress didn’t suit her – this is refined even with the uninteresting hair she is best dressed

I absolutely love the dress, but Nicole looks so terribly stiff in it that I don’t like it on her. The hair is also not helping, it enhances even more the stiffness.

Love the dress, but I ALWAYS love Nicole. Her hair is lighter? Maybe it has been for sometime. I think it accentuates the blues in this dress really beautifully. I just like the crispness of the white with the beautiful blue tones with her hair and makeup.
