Best Dressed Of The Week, Blog
I’m shocked not a single Elizabeth Banks look made the list!!!
I know. Liz needed a nomination. But this week was very busy, so even great talk show looks don’t make it. Bad timing.
I wish Du Juan was on here, she was my favorite from this week. In the end I voted for Blake Lively in Gucci. Have a great weekend FC!
I have updated. thanks you too.
Du Juan in Alexander McQueen (this is how you pull off a bold gown – all she needed was simple styling and envious poise to carry it off with class. Next to her, Blake would’ve looked like a desperate amateur).
But in her absence, my vote goes to Blake in totally deserving Michael Kors red suit, Salma Hayek – runner up.
What an amazing week! And there are even some looks that I really liked that you didn’t include…
Thanks for the coverage and have an amazing weekend FC xx
This was a pretty easy choice for me, Blake Lively in Zuhair Murad Couture. She looked sensational and took my breath away, OTT-ness and all.
Runners up were Blake Lively in Michael Kors, then Katy Perry, and then Salma Hayek.
Du Juan ftw in her elegantly edgy McQueen. If Du Juan had not been added to the poll (thanks, FC!), I would have voted for Blake Lively in Murad.
I voted her Salma Hayek, as she hasn’t looked this divine in a LONG time.
Gucci Premiere brings the best out of Salma.
Long may the partnership continue, as FC would say
It was always going to be Blake Lively vs. Blake Lively for me this week. In the end I went with the Zuhair Murad because it kicked off her amazing run. Runner was the Jenny Packham.
I’m in a summery mood, so I voted Blake in Gucci. I want those earrings!
There are weeks that I have to wait ’til Sunday to decide on who to vote, but this time it was a no brainer. Blake in Zuhair Murad FTW! She looked sensational!
Blake in Gucci and Du Juan in McQueen are my runner ups.
Thanks for the always awesome coverage, FC. Have a great weekend!
I like all 4 of Blake’s looks, even the OTT Murad one. I want to steal Salma’s dress. I love Emma’s look, even though I’m usually not a fan of Chanel (heresy!!!) I really like Katy Perry in that dress.
DU JUAN in McQueen gets my vote.
I would pick Blake in Michael Kors and Emma in Chanel as my runners-up.
What a week! Thank you, FC, for sharing all these great looks with us!
my pleasure. have a great weekend.
Blake Lively in Michael Kors.
I’m missing Olivia Palermo in Katie Ermilio and Elizabeth Banks in the poll, but I understand why they couldn’t make it.
My runners up here are all the other Blake Lively looks.
Have a nice weekend, FC.
I love Blake Lively… She looks stunning to everything she chooses to wear!
voted for blake’s first look, but i wish naomi watts had made the list.
Hesitated between Blake’s high octane glamour attire and her summery Jenny Packham dress. The summer dress got my vote in the end – I think it is cute and more Blake-like than the gown.
I honestly don’t know how to make a choice between Florence Welch, Emma Stone and Du Juan. All three of them are simply stunning, mesmerizing and pretty unforgettable.
I personally think we could have done with just two Blake Lively looks (Zuhair Murad and the red suit), but I guess you can’t argue with the readers…
ufff VERY tough choice!!
finally voted B. Lively in Murad, but I was tempted to vote for Florence and Du Juan who looked amazing
Oh my what a busy week. Great round up Fc. Have a lovely weekend. xx
This has certainly been Blake’s week! I gotta go with her Zuhair Murad, I love me some glamour.
its blake lively’s week!!!…FC I like how you put her pictures in each corner
as always thank you for your amazing work
have a great weekend
I hope you enjoy your weekend
I think Blake just hit a record for being the only one who has 4 looks nominated for BDOTW at the same time.
I voted for Du Juan in Alexander McQueen – it is an amazing look. My second vote would go to Emma Stone in Chanel.
This week’s poll should be changed to: Which Blake Lively Look Was Your Favorite This Week?
1. Salma Hayek in Gucci Premiere
2. Du Juan in Alexander McQueen
3. Emma Stone in Chanel
Have a nice weekend, FC!
I loved Blakein Zuhair but Du Juan in McQueen totally blew me away. Loved her! The gown, the belt, her styling, I loved everything about her look.
U all have a great weekend
wow it is rare that i truly have trouble figuring out who to vote for! so many beautiful looks this week. i wound up torn between blake in jenny packham, salma in gucci, and ariadne in cavalli. after voting i was shocked to see that so many favored blake’s zuhair murad look! i mean no doubt the gown is stunning but the over the top styling was enough to make me gag! i thought that her other looks showcased her youthful beauty and style much better.
Wow this was a great week – so many pretty looks to pick from! I’m in love with so many of them!
Unpopular opinion: Blake Lively in Michael Kors was my favorite, and I strongly disliked Emma Stone’s Chanel look.
Blake in Murad knocked me over the head, but once i’d recovered from that, I kept looking at Florence Welsh and Du Juan and finally, picked Du Juan in McQueen, the details and overall shape really held my interest.
No contest here. It’s Blake in Zuhair Murad all the way.
…and Blake Lively is officially the most overrated ‘fashionable celebrity’. She always looks so contrived. Emma Stone in Chanel for me.
This is VERY difficult this week. So much beautiful clothes. I must have such a red suit next saison!
What a lively week it’s been for Blake Lively! My vote went to her in Z. Murad.
BDOTW—- Blake Lively in Zuhair Murad!! Unbeatable, she’s the perfect goddess to rock this two toned striped gown, super mesmerising, super old hollywood glamour, tres magnifique!!
