Kerry Washington was in North Hollywood, California, yesterday evening for The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Presents ‘Welcome To ShondaLand: An Evening With Shonda Rhimes & Friends’ at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.
The actress donned an Altuzarra Spring 2012 dress.
Her black dress with a drill skirt with a padded v-neck was accessorized with white Reed Krakoff pumps, to complement the white panels on her skirt, and a gunmetal-grey clutch.
Soft waves, kohl-rimmed eyes and a pink lip colour completed her look.
I honestly would’ve preferred black pumps to white with this look, even though both put a cold shiver down my spine.
Which version of this dress do you prefer? The white runway dress with the tropical print panels or red carpet black dress with white panels?

I would prefer Kerry to wear one of the tropical print dresses from the collection as they would pop on her, though this dress is more her style.

The runway version for sure. It just looks so depressing/boring in black…especially since it’s April!

The white one is sooooo much better.
It’s probably an optical illusion, but the runway white dress seems to be padded out at the waist – prefer Kerry Washington’s dress for more flattering fit. Black and white pumps – white sandals – black pumps would have looked better with the dress, if she wanted to stay monochromatic.

I like both color combos but I think Kerry shoudl’ve gone up a size. Also, the white shoes didn’t really work…maybe a black and white shoe would be better. I don’t like the clutch.
