Angelina Jolie In Ralph & Russo – Cinema for Peace Gala 2012

Angelina Jolie attended the Cinema for Peace Gala 2012 during the 2012 Berlin Film Festival on Monday.

The actress looked very chic wearing Ralph & Russo custom gown.

Her light grey silk cashmere herringbone tailored pencil gown with pleated neckline and matching belt not only stays true to her no fuss style, but it’s also appropriate for this charity event.

Angelina teamed her simple gown with statement earrings, glossy curls and a pink-coral lip shade.

Excellent look! Now which of Her two latest gowns do I prefer for BDOTW? I am torn.

  • EmmaWoodhouse

LOVE this. She has been on a style role lately! She’s stepping outside her usual black/shapeless box! It’s awesome. 🙂

  • Jones19

Safe and classic but very chic.

  • i love this. angie has been looking really, REALLY good lately

  • Sabina

I prefer her in this style rather than the matronly beaded long-sleeve dresses she normally chooses

  • CTgirl

I just can’t get behind a herringbone evening gown.

  • dee

She looks classy and elegant. Love it.

  • DSI

Angie looks classy, elegant, divine! Love it!

  • She’s been looking incredible at this year’s Berlinale, just wow. Her hair, her face, I think she looks more gorgeous than usual.

  • D

  • s

Lovely, Classy , Gorgeous & Appropriately Dressed. If only more women would aspire to classy fashion like this as opposed to Lady Gaga/Minaj Clownwear. It looks like Angie completely stole the show without even trying too hard.Effortless Fashion-that should be the goal.

  • Maria66

i love this. It fits her so nicely and is so event appropriate but very elegant and classy.

  • Nat

    I love this look!
The gown fits her like a glove and makes her look really tall and statuesque.
Plus, I love that is event-appropriate and weather-appropriate. It must be freezing in Berlin, and I find it so silly when celebrities wear summery looks in very cold places.

    • Errun

Ditto! Dresses should be weather-appropriate. There is no reason why celebs should not wear a woolen dress in cold places!

    • Linda

Totally agree. This is BDOTW worthy.

  • Elena

Love it!!! So simple so beautiful!!!!

  • Emi

She looks gorgeous, of course. The dress is very beautiful, something “new” for her, I would say.

  • mol

Perfect classic glamour from Angelina, I’m sure lots will go ‘yawn’ but I love this.

  • Cecelia

Love it and kind of surprised that I do. Like you said, it’s appropriate for the event and the winter.

No sure how, or if, you’re getting any sleep with all the shows you’re going to and the events you’re reporting. Don’t wear yourself out.

  • CreoleLady

Flattering silhouette. Let’s just say I’m not disappointed that her arms and legs are covered.

  • Jess2

Simple and chic. Loving the gown and the styling.

  • Ella

I actually like this….and I’m not always an Angie fan. It’s very classy!

    • Alina

+1. This is the 2nd time I really like her outfit.
