Paula Patton attended the eBay Celebrity and Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Celebrate Pop-Up Gallery Exhibition at Chelsea Market in New York City last night.
My first reaction to seeing her in this Versus Spring 2012 dress was, ‘Hmmm…’
Why does her stylist continually get it wrong?
This baby-blue cold-shoulder dress with a pleated skirt is too young for her, tight on the arms and wrong for her body type.
I pictured this look on Leighton Meester, Shailene Woodley or Chloe Moretz; actresses that are 10 or 20 years younger than her.
I can’t even start on the shoes, but as least her jewelry was complementary.
I was hoping Paula would start 2012 on the right foot; I guess that wasn’t to be.

#1 it’s an ugly dress.

Wrong color, style, and accessories. Aside from these minor details it’s fabulous.
I actually think the color is perfect on her skin! The dress it’s too tight and very juvenile, but the color was definately a hit!
Maybe for the first time in my life I don’t like Versus. I don’t like the neck and the sleeves, the color is cute but Paula is the wron girl for this type of dress.

Horrible. The dress is too small or has it been badly altered, regardless, one look in the mirror should have been enough to put this nightmare back on the hanger. And, the shoes take it from bad to worse.

I think it looks stunning on her. What a beautiful color on her skin, and I love the style of the top. Wish she hadn’t gone so matchy with the jewelry and a nude shoe would have been great. Blake Lively would also look beautiful in this.
She is far too beautiful to be wearing this ugly frock and sporting bad makeup and hair. What a shame about that
I think the color looks great on her but the dress itself is ugly.
Oh this is so bad. Its not a great dress in the first place – the top part looks very bad. She should be thinking more Versace than Versus.
the first word that comes to mind when thinking of Paula’s “style” is TRAGEDY
I don’t know about the age issue, but it is wrong both in fit and color. Given the way the top pulls, I can’t imagine it looking good on anyone. The dress itself, is a mess.

I don’t even like this dress to start with…the cold-shoulder detail seems strange. And on Paula? With black shoes? Puh-leeze. No way.

I really like the color for her with spring pastels in season but the dress is so wrong and the shoes… Why on earth would u put black pointed toe pumps with such a playful dresss?

I agree that this dress doesn’t really suit her, but I don’t dislike it as much I dislike the black shoes paired with such a brightly coloured outfit.
Terrible, too girlie. I would see Elle Fanning with this kind of dress, and not with those shoes!
I didn’t love or hate this dress on the runway and it is really not working on Paula. Hopefully she bounces back and gives great looks, somewhere along the calibre of her gorgeous yellow Monique Lhullier gown.
