Janelle Monae In Wolk Morais – ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA Premiere

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature Janelle Monae In Wolk Morais - ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA Premiere

Janelle Monáe struck a pose at the ‘Welcome To Marwen’ LA premiere on Monday (December 10). She attended the event alongside Leslie MannGwendoline Christie and Diane Kruger.

This graphic Wolk Morais Fall 2018 outfit plays into her aesthetic perfectly.

She has taken the runway version and made it look like the pieces were made for her with the addition of the hat, patent ankle boots and sharp shirt and tie.

The patterned clutch even plays off the design on the separates.

Blake Lively In Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Wolk Morais & Givenchy Haute Couture – ‘A Simple Favor’ New York Promotion & Premiere

Blake Lively Bottega Veneta 2 - a simple favor good morning america

As Blake Lively continued celebrating her new movie ‘A Simple Favor,’ she was in New York City for more promotion and the premiere — which meant she marched out five different suited-up looks on Monday (September 10).

Good Morning America: In what may be her quirkiest suit moment yet, the actress played with patterns in this floral Gucci suit styled with a Bottega Veneta Fall 2018 trench and Stuart Weitzman ‘Juniper’ booties. It was a bit of a sensory overload, but I like that she’s having so much fun suiting up — althouth it did remind me of something we’d see on Jared Leto — if he wore cropped pants.

Awkwafina In Wolk Morais & Mulberry – ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Atlanta Premiere

Awkwafina In Wolk Morais & Mulberry – ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Atlanta Premiere

Awkwafina returned to the US for the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ premiere on Thursday (August 2) in Atlanta, Georgia, following her trip to Canada.

The actress wore a vibrant Wolk Morais Fall 2018 suit that channeled ’80s power-dressing.

I love that this bold and chic option is rendered in the head-turning scarlet red shade, but it was the Mulberry Spring 2018 printed shirt which amped up this modern take on vintage tailoring.

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Mira Pearl’ sandals completed her look.

‘355’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

After first seeing a photoshoot with Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Fan Bingbing on Elizabeth Stewart’s instagram, I thought the ladies were promoting a beauty line or jewelry, as they were all decked out in black.

Turns out the ladies are actually promoting their spy thriller ‘355’ during Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 10).

Can our hearts take two mega Girl Power promo tours this year (the other being Ocean’s 8)?

It can, and it will.

Penelope Cruz: Despite the famous Devil Wears Prada quote, I’m all in when it comes to florals for spring and summer, especially when it breaks up the mostly-black run the Spanish actress has opted for during this festival. Her Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2018 maxi was such a refreshing choice.

Marion Cotillard: The edgier side to Marion came out to play again today in this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 LBD styled with Chanel cuffs. The Nicholas Kirkwood Casati over-the-knee biker boots drag this look down a bit. I would’ve loved a open-toe bootie.

Jessica Chastain: Elegance personified, the actress always looks right at home during Cannes Film Festival. The best part of her Wolk Morais look is the gorgeous draped detail at the back. Jimmy Choo ‘Hourly’ sandals completed her look.

Lupita Nyong’o: Fresh of her successful promo tour for ‘Black Panther’ the actress was wearing all black donning a Miu Miu collection dress. Styled with Lace up ankle booties and Fendi shades, I do love this look, but I’m missing Lupita in bold colours. APM Monaco’s Mono silver moon earrings completed her look.

Fan Bingbing: I was worried that we wouldn’t see the Asian actress at the festival this year as she’s no longer and L’Oreal or Chopard ambassador. What would Cannes be without Fan Bingbing? Decked out in all white Osman Spring 2018, the white shirt might aim to bring balance to this look, but it’s all about the feather skirt. I’m living for this daytime drama. The shoes? Hmmm.

Janelle Monae In Wolk Morais – ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ LA Premiere

Janelle Monae changed a habit of a lifetime when she stepped onto the red carpet for the premiere of Disney’s ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ on Monday (February 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress/singer, known for her love for all things black and white, opted for a bright pink Wolk Morais Spring 2018 three-piece suit.

Even though the colour was pink, the borrow-from-the-boys undertones featured strongly.

I recently saw Janelle’s ‘Django Jane’ music video where she dons a similar suit, yet this still came as quite a surprise. I love that she likes to keep us on our toes.

Janelle always has that one accessory I feel that she could’ve done without. On this occasion it was her Emm Kuo ‘Ziggy’ clutch.

Heidi Klum In Wolk Morais – Wolk Morais Collection 6 Fashion Show

Heidi Klum was at the Wolk Morais Collection 6 Fashion Show on Wednesday (January 17) in LA.

As the ‘Project Runway’ host’s style continues to evolve, here she offered a lovely reprieve from her more expected looks.

The effortless nature of this Wolk Morais Fall 2017 floral suit was a refreshing departure that was far and away from feeling forced.

Balancing out the boxier, menswear proportions of the jacket and trousers, the lace bra and metallic Neil J. Rodgers ‘Stella’ sandals added a moment’s allure to complete the look.

Elizabeth Banks In Wolk Morais – 13th Annual Outfest Legacy Awards

Elizabeth Banks was on hand at the 13th Annual Outfest Legacy Awards on Sunday (October 22) in Los Angeles, California.

Whether she is channeling Old Hollywood glamour or experimenting with something edgier, the actress never fails to disappoint me. This Wolk Morais Fall 2016 ensemble was no exception.

The magenta floral silk jacquard jumpsuit captured the light, projecting a moody elegance. The short-sleeved blouse and cropped trousers brought a retro, feminine edge to the reflective fabric.

The black clutch and sandals let the jumpsuit do the talking while the swirling updo was an interesting finishing touch. What did you think of her hair?
