NET-A-PORTER Exclusive: Halpern Studio Partywear Collection

For this upcoming holiday season, NET-A-PORTER has launch of an exclusive partywear capsule from cult London-based label, HALPERN STUDIO. Inspired by the photographer, Hasse Persson, the collection centres on glamour as a female frame of mind.

HALPERN STUDIO’s distinctive sequined designs take centre stage within the exclusive capsule, embodying high octane glamour and capturing the 1970s spirit of hedonism at the legendary Studio 54 nightclub.

Consisting of 8 ready-to-wear items, the capsule collection focuses on after-dark allure as black paillettes with flashes of neon colour seduce the eye. The fit and flare silhouette of a glittering jumpsuit or the contrast of an unassuming polo neck with dramatic disco flares make this capsule a game changer for the party season.

Shop the collection now at NET-A-PORTER.

CR Fashion Book Issue 13 Launch Party

CR Fashion Book Issue 13 Launch Party

The CR Fashion Book Issue 13 Launch Party was held on Monday (October 1) in Paris, France and supported by Luisaviaroma.

Anna Dello Russo: The signature glitz of the Halpern label shone brightly in this edition of ADR’s also-signature leggy look.

Natalia Vodianova: I like the relaxed-chic aesthetic of this cold-shoulder Monse dress, but the halter neckline needed no help from the choker necklace.

Cindy Bruna: This Roberto Cavalli Fall 2018 look, awash in allover ombre shades, was an intriguing interpretation on the body-con jumpsuit. The matching bolero pulled the retro-mod look together. Few could make this ensemble work like Cindy did.

Adwoa Aboah may have skipped the official red carpet at the Hyundai Mercury Prize 2018 on Thursday (September 20) in London, where Florence Welch, Jorja Smith, and Lily Allen were also in attendance.

But, there would still be no missing the model in this jaw-dropping Halpern Spring 2019 design that’s hot off the London Fashion Week runway.

I love how this look combined designer Michael Halpern’s signature celebration of the glitzy Studio 54 sequin with the colorful Tetris-patterned bustier bodice.

Glitz and glam on another level — complete with the flash of her metallic-teal eye shadow — it was all striking beyond measure.

Bvlgari Hong Kong Opening Event

Bvlgari Hong Kong Opening Event

Bvlgari held a party to celebrate a new store opening on Thursday (August 22) in Hong Kong, China.

Sammi Cheng Sau-man: The singer gave us our second look at Versace’s colourful Fall 2018 ball gowns within 24 hours, as Caroline Wozniacki had worn a similar look the day before. This look, which is the same a JLo’s, marks a first, as it’s the first time we’ve seen this look sans t-shirt. The black bustier does make this a party piece which was fit for the occasion, as does the host jewels, which only enliven the look further. I’m actually looking forward to the next interpretation of this look. We’ve had one from Europe, the US and Asia. So let’s see what if the any Bollywood babes can take this look to the next level.

Topshop X Halpern Collection

I’m excited to announce that the Topshop X Halpern collection will launch in November 2018, just in time for the festive season.

Halpern’s designs are a fusion of Studio 54-inspired American glamour entwined with couture house detailing.

Halpern first made it way onto the red carpet back in 2017 at Cannes Film Festival courtesy of Marion Cotillard. Since there everyone from Katy Perry, to Diane Kruger and Amal Clooney have worn his pieces.

Halpern’s draped bustier top was the most worn piece of 2017.

Synonymous with Halpern’s energetic 1970’s aesthetic, the Topshop x Halpern collection promises playful, disco-ready partywear across neon velvet separates, printed two pieces, sequin-adorned jumpsuits and iridescent camo print mini dresses.

The 28-piece collection will be available in selected Topshop stores globally and online at www.topshop.com from early November, 2018, with prices starting at 35GBP, 46EURO, 68USD, 69.95AUD.

Marion Cotillard In Halpern & Filles à Papa – César Awards 2018

Marion Cotillard opted for two metallic looks on the night of the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France, where she joined Penelope Cruz, Isabelle Huppert, Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry, who all had one look to her two.

Considering this is the French equivalent to the Oscars, this Halpern Fall 2018 feels way too casual, even with the train. I may have been more forgiving had she opted for those stunning red embellished booties, but one must consider that after being contracted for so long, that Marion perhaps is in a wear-what-I-want-when-I-want frame of mind.
