2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The was plenty of shimmer and sass at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) in Inglewood, California, where celebrities joined Hailey Baldwin and Iggy Azalea.

Madelaine Petsch: The ‘Riverdale’ actress opted for L’atiste by Amy coordinates and a Tyler Ellis clutch. At music awards shows almost anything goes, but this doesn’t feel quite right for the event. The accessories are enhancing the disjointed impression. The co-ords would have been cute at a photocall.

Ashley Greene: Projecting a darker mood, the actress wore a Shoshanna dress printed with metallic blooms. The flared frock was a change of pace from the usual slinky gowns, but I can see some taking issue with the prom feel.

Justine Skye: The singer brightened up the carpet in a Cushnie et Ochs dress with Pierre Hardy ‘Parade’ sandals and Area earrings. It was a fun look with her purple bun playing off the contrasting colours in the shoes.

Jennifer Lopez’s Ten Costume Changes At The 2015 American Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez was the host of the 2015 American Music Awards, which took place on Sunday (November 22) in LA.

Since I’m not sure what the order of her ten custom changes were, I will start with the most fabric, followed by the catsuits/jumpsuits, then the nearly naked dresses.

Look 1: My favourite was this Michael Cino Spring 2016 ombre full skirt dress.  Mostly because it is so unexpected for JLo, but the sequins are winning me over too.  Just a shame about the gym-bun.

Jennifer Lopez took her place on the red carpet of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (May 17).

The songstress and ‘American Idol’ judge was—yet again—caught singing the same old sartorial song in a Charbel Zoe gown.

Her whirlpool of predictable, one-note looks has created a constant, dizzying state of déjà vu that now only has me wishing for an escape from the sheer madness.

Again checking all the boxes on see-through, shine, and overt sexiness, this particular dress was only distinctive in that the entire midsection was on display.

No matter how taut her tummy, it still renders as rather try-hard and tiresome. Next.

Jennifer Lopez attended the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, California.

With diva mode in full-effect, she stunned – in more ways than one – wearing shimmering silver Charbel Zoe gown featuring a bodice with multiple cut-outs and a slit to the hip-bone.

This look might not go down so well with most, but frankly, this is exactly what I would expect from JLo at a music event.

Styled with metallic white Jimmy Choo ‘Tartini’ pumps, Norman Silverman jewels and a silver python Thalé Blanc ‘Talia Mini Fastueux’ clutch, the singer completed her look with nude lips and silver eye makeup.

Anyone else giving this a pass?

Shakira performed during the closing ceremony prior to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil final match between Germany and Argentina held at the Maracaña on Sunday (July 13) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Like Jennifer Lopez at the opening ceremony, Shakira opted to wear a piece from up-and-coming designer Charbel Zoe, which is quite a latin diva double whammy.

The custom fiery-red piece featuring an embroidered bodice and feathered skirt definitely helped enhance Shakira’s electrifying performance.

She styled the look with feathered flats, with her wavy hair left to blow in the wind.

Before taking to the stage to open the 2014 World Cup on Thursday (June 12) evening, Jennifer Lopez posted an Instagram video of three looks asking her fans to pick her look for her performance.

One was a nude catsuit (been there, done that – possibly Zuhair Murad); the second was a silver mini dress with safety-pin accents (most definitely Versus); and the final option, the one she selected, was created by young Lebanese designer Charbel Zoe

The emerald-green playsuit with a collar and beaded fringe had her looking the part of a Brazilian Carnival performer as she sang the World Cup theme song ‘We Are One’ alongside Pitbull, pop-star Claudia Leitte and Brazilian band Olodum.

She styled the look with Christian Louboutin ‘Marale’ booties and embellished tights.

This is a classic performance look from the diva and, apparently, for the newbie designer, who has had quite a career-defining moment.
