End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

Before we roll up the red carpet for another week, here is a roundup of the ladies who stood in the spotlight.

Kathryn Hahn: This Rachel Comey look may hail from the Spring 2019 collection, but I love the combination of spring and fall here.

Marin Hinkle: The actress joined Rachel Brosnahan for ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ New York premiere, sparkling in a Thai Nguyen Atelier Resort 2019 silver metallic dress with gold pumps.

Amanda Steele: The actress was at the Lancome x Vogue event wearing a white and black jewel fringed dress from the Each Other Spring 2019 collection. Having seen the dress on the runway, I much prefer Amanda’s presentation of this look styled with a belt, silver pumps and a bright yellow Edie Parker bag.

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala

There was plenty more glamour on display on the red carpet at the 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 3) in Los Angeles, California, joining Kiki Layne, Zoe Kravitz and Rowan Blanchard.

Dakota Johnson: I know sheer yokes aren’t favoured by most, but this Gucci look could’ve translated as too heavy and gothic-like for Dakota without it.

Salma Hayek: Seeing Salma in this Gucci gold gown, it’s feels like it would’ve been perfect for the ’80s soap Dynasty. The jewel play their part too.

Olivia Hamilton In Lela Rose & J. Mendel – ‘First Man’ Venice Film Festival Photocall, Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Olivia Hamilton In Lela Rose & J. Mendel - ‘First Man’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Olivia Hamilton joined Claire Foy and Ryan Gosling on the red carpet for the photocall earlier this afternoon, before the opening ceremony and the ‘First Man’ premiere during the 2018 Venice Film Festival this evening (August 29) in Italy.

Photocall: The heatwave has unfortunately waved goodbye to London, so her Lela Rose pleated checked coated-poplin dress has me pining for long hot days and balmy nights. This Pre-Fall 2018 dress, which sees the designer swapping her signature floral prints for a Glen plaid pattern, was refined in profile with white pumps.

Premiere: A gown with a tulle skirt as frothy as this was made for a major film festival, so I’m not surprised that Olivia selected this J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2018 look. However, I feel like I would’ve loved this look more sans sheer overlay, with the pretty embroidery attributed to the bustier.
