Keri Russell In Johanna Ortiz – New York City Ballet’s 2017 Fall Fashion Gala & 2017 Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy Brooklyn Black Tie Ball

If you look back over Keri Russell’s style file, you’ll notice that since May 30, 2017, there has been a distinct shift.

From that moment on she has pretty much wore Johanna Ortiz exclusively.

The obsession is real.

Gone are the measured, simple silhouettes for plenty of ruffles, tiers and in some cases colour.

Back in July she said in an interview with People Style, “I’ve just been so entranced by Johanna Ortiz and what she’s doing lately. She’s just so fun and it feels so feminine, and so I asked if I could borrow something from her new collection.”

That love has continued into September and October where Keri has gone from an asymmetrical black mini dress at the New York City Ballet’s 2017 Fall Fashion Gala, to a truly unique strapless evening piece with yet more statement ruffles and architectural construction at the Brooklyn Black Tie Ball.

Along with the dress, the earrings are stunning.

Long may the obsession continue.

Keri Russell In J. Mendel – 2017 Emmy Awards

Keri Russell attended the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

For the big night, Keri chose a J. Mendel Resort 2018 gown and geometric earrings.

This is one of those subtle gowns that kind of sneaks up on you. At first glance, it’s just a long, black gown, but would you look at those details? The lace and feathers are both dramatic and understated at once, and Keri brings this to life perfectly.

Her loose waves and simple makeup are the perfect pairing for this look and it all reminds us that sometimes, a second glance gives you plenty of excitement.

Saks Fifth Avenue & Vogue Kick Off the Summer with Keri Russell

Keri Russsell co-hosted the Saks Fifth Avenue & Vogue ‘Kick Off the Summer’ dinner at EMP Summer House in East Hampton, New York on Thursday (July 6).

Seemingly falling in love with all things Johanna Ortiz, the actress wore a look from the designers recent Resort 2018 collection.

Taking an ultra feminine approach on this occasion, the look is anything but forgettable thanks to the exaggerated details and feminine flourishes keeping up Ortiz’s forward-thinking approach to tailoring.

I would’ve preferred a less fussy sandal without the ankle ties, but this is a perfect summery look nonetheless.

10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Red Carpet Roundup

A number of other summer-ready stars joined Nicole Kidman at the 10th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday (June 3) in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Kendall Jenner: Geranium-chic is what Kendall was giving us in her adorable Dolce & Gabbana floral mini styled with a matching purse and scarf—plus a bit of ’70s funk with her white Stuart Weitzman ‘Clingy’ booties lest the mood get too precious.

Tommy Dorfman: I loved seeing this Vince Camuto look from Tommy, as it set a playfully exuberant, style-forward mood without going over the top. Pink shades, pink shoes and soles, and cropped, schoolboy trousers—he sold it to me.

Kate Mara: Innocently feminine with an undercurrent of sheer lace allure, this Burberry frock was light and lovely for the event.

Keri Russell Honored With Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame In Johanna Ortiz

Keri Russell was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier today (May 30) in Hollywood, California.

The actress is known for her no-fuss style, so I was surprised (and delighted) to see her infuse some latin flavour into her red carpet look courtesy of her Johanna Ortiz off-shoulder top.

I love how the shoulder-baring striped piece is counterbalanced by a simple wide leg trousers to create a chic, modern interpretation of exemplary tailoring.

Build Series Presents Keri Russell (In Prada) Discussing ‘The Americans’

Keri Russell was on set for the Build Series on Wednesday (March 8), where she discussed her FX series ‘The Americans.’

With an ensemble that mixed effortless modernity with retro charm, the actress paired an oversized black sweater with a paneled houndstooth Prada pencil skirt.

The voluminous proportions of the top mixed with the narrower bottom half of the ensemble made for an ultimately chic look—bolstered by the funky fun appeal of her hot pink heels with sheer socks.

A petal-pink lip and long waves only drove home the relaxed charm.
