Zendaya Wore Matières Fécales To ‘The Odyssey’ New York Premiere
The moment is finally here. Zendaya was the first to step onto the red carpet for the New York premiere of The Odyssey on Tuesday.

We’ve seen plenty of Grecian-inspired gowns from Zendaya throughout this press tour, but rather than embracing classical drapery once again, she took a more symbolic approach.
Wearing a Matières Fécales Fall 2025 design, the actress embodied mythology through the gown’s extraordinary feathered wings. The sweeping ivory creation felt less like a traditional goddess and more like a mythical guardian, capturing the supernatural spirit that runs through The Odyssey. It was dramatic, theatrical and completely fitting for one of the year’s biggest premieres.
This isn’t Zendaya’s first outing in Matières Fécales, having previously championed the avant-garde label, and once again she demonstrated why she is such a compelling match for its imaginative approach to design. Few actresses could sell a look of this scale without it feeling like a costume, but she made it feel completely believable.

The styling was equally considered. Her makeup remained soft and understated, allowing the gown to command attention, while a long, intentionally undone braid cascading down her back added an earthy, almost warrior-like quality that balanced the fantasy of the dress. White wedges, rather than her signature So Kate heels, and dazzling Chopard earrings from he Haute Joaillerie Collection completed the look.
After weeks of exceptional press tour fashion, Zendaya saved one of her most memorable looks for the premiere.
I’m sure some will inevitably draw comparisons to the feathered wings worn by Victoria’s Secret Angels, but this operated on an entirely different level.
Stylist: Law Roach.
