I have been waiting all day for images from what I assumed was the photocall for The Drama with Zendaya, but nothing has surfaced via the usual picture agencies, so I suspect they will land on Law Roach or Zendaya’s Instagram in due course.
If you’re anything like me, this Matières Fécales Spring 2026 pink draped gown offers a much-needed shift away from the bridal white narrative that has been running through this press tour.
And the interesting thing is, this is exactly the kind of direction I had been hoping for. The floral bouquet at the shoulder, the scattered appliqués, and the distressed finish give the look an undone, almost unruly edge that plays into the idea of a wedding story not going quite to plan. It feels thematic without being predictable. It leans into the idea of romance that isn’t pristine, which makes it far more engaging.
What really sells this for me is the texture. The draping isn’t pristine; it has a slightly raw, pieced-together quality that stops the softness of the colour from tipping into something overly saccharine. It keeps the look interesting and gives it an edge that has been missing so far on this tour.
This feels less expected, rather than repeating a formula we have already seen multiple times.
