Kate Hudson Promotes ‘Running Point’ Season 2 In Valentino
Running Point Season 2 returns to Netflix on April 23, and Kate Hudson kicked off promotion in Los Angeles this week.

You likely recognised her Valentino look instantly. Designed by Alessandro Michele for the Spring 2026 Fireflies collection, the ruched, bow-accented piece has already made the rounds as a dress – seen in blue on Kirsten Dunst and in green on Hailey Bieber – so here as a ruched jacket and paired with satin trousers, this iteration feels like a fresh pivot rather than a repeat.
The last time we saw Kate in Valentino, we weren’t convinced, but we weren’t sold on anything during her Song Sung Blue press tour era, but awards season for that film was another story.
The structure of the jacket sharpens the sweetness of the bows, while the streamlined trousers keep it from veering too saccharine.
What instantly captivates is the pink-and-brown pairing. On paper, it shouldn’t quite land, with one shade soft and confectionery and the other more grounded, but together they strike a balance, as the brown anchors the look, tempering the sweetness of the pink, while the pink lifts the brown, keeping it from feeling heavy. It’s this push and pull that makes the combination work.
The look was styled with Valentino Garavani geometric sunglasses and a Valentino Garavani Panthea bag.
Stylist: Mariel Haenn.
