Andra Day Wore Diesel To The ‘Is This Thing On’ New York Screening
Andra Day attended the screening of her upcoming film Is This Thing On at the DGA Theatre in New York on Wednesday, giving us a sharp pivot from the glamour look she gave us for the London premiere.

Instead, she embraced a head-to-toe Diesel Spring 2026 look by Glenn Martens—an unexpected but exciting turn that leans into Martens’ talent for texture, colour distortion and future-facing silhouettes. The green devoré top, with its asymmetric fold and structured neckline, set the tone for a label that favours experimentation over red-carpet predictability. The purple skirt continues the devoré story, with the shade shifting under the lights that feels almost industrial-meets-art school.
Her Diesel naplak-effect ankle boots aren’t an obvious pairing, but continued the directional note.
This isn’t the Andra Day we typically see—but that’s exactly why it lands. It feels like a palette cleanse before the intensity of awards season kicks in, and I’m always here for something new.
Stylist: Wouri Vice.
