Teyana Taylor Wore Moncler x Jil Sander To The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Teyana Taylor attended the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade today in New York City, and of course, only she could turn standing on a moving float in November into a full editorial moment.

Her Moncler x Jil Sander coat was instantly recognisable, not just because of its dramatic texture — those looping, sculptural strands that look engineered rather than knitted.

Moncler supplies the technical prowess; Jil Sander supplies the exacting minimalism and avant-garde silhouette. The result? Outerwear so striking it almost dares you to complain about the cold.

Teyana leaned into the look book styling with the balaclava and turtleneck, proving that practicality doesn’t have to push personality aside. But she also did what Teyana always does: she added a twist of her own. The red gloves gave the monochrome palette a jolt, while the Schiaparelli trompe l’Oeil canvas sneakers felt perfectly her. If there’s an outfit in existence that can’t take a Schiaparelli accessory, Teyana has yet to meet it.

The beauty of this whole moment is that she looked genuinely cosy — insulated, layered, ready for parade winds — while still dressed for the cameras. It’s winter dressing at its most expressive, and Teyana remains one of the few people who can ride a float and look like she’s headlining a fashion film.
