Hailey Bieber Wore Schiaparelli Haute Couture To The 2025 Academy Museum Gala

Hailey Bieber attended the 2025 Academy Museum Gala, and I was happy to see that she didn’t go to her default settings by wearing another Saint Laurent LBD.

Instead, the Rhode founder wore a Schiaparelli Spring 2025 Haute Couture dress by Daniel Roseberry that could’ve stepped straight out of a surrealist dream. Crafted from brown vintage ribbons and transparent mesh, the look perfectly captures the cross-century dialogue that defines Roseberry’s current vision for Schiaparelli.

The structure recalls the corseted silhouettes of the Renaissance, with exaggerated hips sculpted to create that idealised, hourglass form once immortalised in oil paintings. But there’s also something deeply modern about it — the exposed mesh midsection and thigh-high slit transform what could have been museum-like into something magnetic, sensual, and entirely captivating.

The antique rhinestone brooch on her hip and the nude floral corset mules ground the look in Roseberry’s love of historical detail and surreal glamour. Yet Hailey brings her own language to it — minimal styling, glossy hair, and quiet confidence. It’s this ability to make couture feel fresh that sells the look to me, that and seeing Hailey finally step out of her comfort zone.
