Kate Hudson Wore Oscar de la Renta To The Will Rogers Pioneer Dinner
Kate Hudson was honoured with the 2025 Pioneer of the Year award by the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation in Los Angeles last night, recognised for her philanthropic and social causes. From serving on the board of The Hawn Foundation to advocating for preventive mental health programs and supporting initiatives such as the United Nations World Food Programme, Baby2Baby, and Operation Smile, Kate’s contributions extend far beyond Hollywood.

For the occasion, the actress wore an Oscar de la Renta draped velvet strapless gown from the Resort 2026 collection featuring a devoré feather pattern. It’s a truly breathtaking creation — soft, shimmering and perfectly suited to her sense of glamour.
Her diamond choker and earrings elevated the look further, but my first thought was that the hairstyle aged her slightly. Granted, it’s probably because I’m so used to seeing her signature beachy waves cascading down her shoulders, but this slicked-back updo feels a little too severe for such a romantic gown.
Still, the overall effect remains polished and undeniably graceful — the kind of red carpet moment that reminds us why Kate Hudson will always be a Hollywood favourite.
