Which of Jenna Ortega’s ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Press Tour Looks Was Your Favourite?

When Jenna Ortega sets off on a press tour, you’d expect one thing above all else: black dresses. Whether it’s Wednesday or Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, her gothic fashion stamp has always been part of the package. But this time, for Wednesday Season 2, she and stylist Enrique Melendez decided to flip the script. Instead of leaning heavily on black, this tour became an exercise in storytelling through fashion—and it might just be her most compelling run yet.

The journey began at Netflix’s Tudum 2025 Global Fan Event, where Jenna stepped out in a Markgong ombre trench coat, unknowingly setting the tone for what would become a truly memorable tour. The real spark, however, came in London, when she bleached her eyebrows and delivered two show-stopping looks: a dramatic Givenchy moment and an Ashi Studio Couture snakeskin gown.

From voluminous sleeves to sleek sensuality, she proved she wasn’t sticking to one lane.

Her Willy Chavarria look on Good Morning America divided opinion—some thought the outfit overpowered her—but I appreciated the risk and the narrative.

In New York, she leaned back into her gothic roots with Ann Demeulemeester, while Seoul gave us a delightfully whimsical Simone Rocha.

And let’s not forget Sydney, where oversized fun fur coats kept things cosy while still making a statement.

What impressed me most was the breadth: from introducing Elena Velez to the red carpet (twice) to bringing in labels we hadn’t associated with her—Ashi Studio, Willy Chavarria, Givenchy—while balancing them with houses that felt like natural extensions of her aesthetic, including Ann Demeulemeester, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, and Simone Rocha.

This tour was bold, imaginative, and refreshingly unpredictable. Which look stands out most for you?

Stylist: Enrique Melendez.
