Jenna Ortega’s ‘Wednesday’ Beauty Look Was Hauntingly Good
Jenna Ortega’s reign as the queen of gothic glamour continued in spectacular fashion at the Wednesday Season 2 premiere in London. While her snake-print Ashi Studio latex gown brought the shock factor, it was her daring beauty look—crafted by makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis—that really sealed the deal.

Giving Morticia a run for her money, Mélanie took the gothic brief and made it high fashion with a few bold moves: bleached brows, ultra-spiky lashes, and skin so sculpted it could haunt a Renaissance painting.
To create that eerily perfect canvas, Mélanie began by lifting and contouring Jenna’s face with the Lumeo SkinLift Device, chiselling out cheekbones worthy of a Tim Burton heroine. The result? Snatched and sculpted in the most deliciously dramatic way.
Skincare prep came courtesy of Dr. Barbara Sturm, including:
- Hyaluronic Acid Serum
- Hyaluronic Mist
- The Face Cream
- Glow Drops
- Lip Balm
- Everything Eye Patches (used both the night before and day of for maximum glow and depuffing)
On to the makeup, which leaned into moody glamour with precision:
Skin:
- Dior Forever Hydra Nude for a luminous base
- Dior Forever Skin Perfect and Skin Correct for that seamless finish
- Dior Forever Contour Skin to enhance the already razor-sharp bone structure
Eyes:
- Dior Forever Glow Maximizer in #Pearly for a haunted shimmer
- Diorshow Maximizer 4D for lash prep
- Diorshow Overvolume Mascara in #Black to create her signature spiked lashes
- Diorshow 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow in #73 Pied de Poule for a smokey gaze
- Diorshow Stylo in #61 Matte Grey to line with intention
Lips:
- Rouge Dior Contour Lip Liner in #400 for a softly sculpted pout
This wasn’t just a beauty look—it was an editorial-grade transformation with a subversive twist. Jenna’s bleached brows may have been the most controversial element, but when the whole look is this good, the risk pays off. Wednesday Addams would definitely approve.
