Kiki Layne Wore Elisabetta Franchi To ‘The Old Guard 2’ LA Premiere

After Uma Thurman’s laidback elegance and Charlize Theron’s power-dressing moment, you may have found yourself asking, “But where’s the glamour?” at The Old Guard 2 LA premiere.

That responsibility fell into the very capable hands of Kiki Layne—and what a joy it was to see her back on the red carpet. She’s been missed.

Bringing sparkle, silhouette and high-impact sophistication, Kiki wore a custom Elisabetta Franchi gown that delivered pure red carpet magic. The mermaid silhouette hugged her figure beautifully, while the embroidered tulle bustier—dripping in crystals, pearls and metallic baguette embellishments—gave us all the glitz we were craving. The feathered skirt, crafted from layers of tulle, flowed into a dramatic train that moved like a dream and gave the look its cinematic punch.

Could a gown this detailed have stood alone? Possibly. But I’m glad it didn’t. The addition of a contemporary Messika necklace, along with coordinating rings and earrings, elevated the look even further.

Now that is how you make a comeback.
