Ayo Edebiri Wore Jacquemus On Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Ayo Edebiri stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night where she talked about growing up in Boston, visiting her high school, being surprised with “Ayo Day” by the Mayor, and staying in her childhood bedroom (which she hilariously admitted still has an Aaliyah poster up). She also shared how she co-wrote an upcoming episode of The Bear with Lionel Boyce, proving her talents go well beyond the screen, and the red carpet.
But let’s talk about that look. Arriving with her adorable Chihuahua, Gromit, Ayo wore a Jacquemus la Robe croisière mini dress in a vibrant cherry red. It was a much-needed fashion reset after that her Kallmeyer moment at The Bear dinner which most of us find a little underwhelming.
The fit was flirty and unfussy, the styling refreshingly simple with black pumps, Jessica McCormack earrings and those Oliver Peoples x Khaite 1961c cat-eye sunglasses adding a dash of It-girl energy. The shorter hairstyle works beautifully for her, especially as we head into summer, and it all felt very her—playful, and cool.
Mildly obsessed? I’d say that I’m deeply invested.
