Menswear Midweek Red Carpet Roundup
Here’s a roundup of the menswear moments that caught my eye this week.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Colman Domingo continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. Spotted heading to The Late Show, he stepped out in a peach short suit with a loosely placed tie around his neck—casual, cool, and entirely Colman. The unbothered way the tie just hangs there speaks to his self-assured approach to style. Add Christian Louboutin suede boots, shades, and a Valentino Garavani Vain bag, and once again, he’s proved he is one of one.
The Bear Cast and Producers Dinner
Jeremy Allen White is really leaning into his new Louis Vuitton ambassadorship, and this custom white single-breasted peak lapel jacket paired with black trousers is a strong showing. Intentional or not, the nod to his Bear character’s chef whites isn’t lost on me. The crisp, clean statement.
10th Anniversary of Netflix Spain
Loewe’s signature draped trousers are still going strong, and Enzo Vogrincic gave us another iteration. While I’m not completely sold on the contrast shirt paired with the draped black trousers, I can admit this will probably grow on me. It’s one of those looks you don’t love at first sight, but potentially respect later.
If you’re committing to an all-black look, you need to give us something to latch onto—and Agustin Della Corte delivered with a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2025 leather and raffia mesh jacket was a masterclass in making monochrome moment feel anything but flat.
F1: The Movie Mexico Photocall
Damson Idris kept things relaxed in straight-leg jeans and a Tommy Hilfiger Summer 2025 open-knit striped shirt. The effortless ease felt completely aligned with the location and the tone of the event.
Brad Pitt’s photocall look came with a linen suit that felt like it belonged on a yacht moored in St. Tropez—muted coral and sky blue tones brought summer to life. We’re choosing to overlook the creases in favour of the palette, right?
F1: The Movie Mexico Premiere
Now this is the Pitt premiere look I was waiting for. The lilac suit was a much stronger, more durable choice—and paired with the buzzcut, it served up some low-key Fight Club nostalgia. Bonus points for the dark purple shoes.
2025 BET Awards
Kendrick Lamar surprised me—in a good way. His usual streetwear-heavy aesthetic gave way to a tailored McQueen Spring 2025 tuxedo, accessorised with a Twin Skull belt and a blue knitted scarf wrapped around his head. It had depth, intention, and still felt very “Kendrick.”
Saint JHN was sharp in crisp ivory Fendi, with leather patch pockets giving this moment some edge.
Machine Gun Kelly may have ditched the spikes, but the razor-blade earrings ensured we weren’t lulled into thinking he’d gone fully conventional. Styled with a yellow shirt and tie and black trousers, it felt pared back—for him.
Tyler Perry wore crystal-embellished Louis Vuitton jacket—no colour this time, just sparkle.
Miles Caton took the stage wearing a Louis Vuitton brown tailored kimono jacket with floral buttons, matching flares, and a black tie.
The Kelly Clarkson Show
Tom Daley wore an AMIRI Spring 2025 look. Retro in all the right ways, his pinstripe flared trousers and ‘MA’ Music Note jacket had personality without feeling try-hard.
Relay Tribeca Festival Premiere
Riz Ahmed brought Prada to Tribeca with a laidback look—blue leather jacket, brown shirt, brown trousers, and Collapse sneakers. It was elevated streetwear with a bit of indie film festival flair.
