Alicia Keys Wore Moncler x EE72 by Edward Enninful To The 2025 Met Gala
Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz hit the 2025 Met Gala carpet twinning in stripes, giving us coordinated couple realness with a side of jazz-age reference.

Pinstripes are a staple of Black dandyism—think Harlem Renaissance, zoot suits, and unapologetic flair—and while the theme was nailed in theory, the execution didn’t quite sing in harmony.
Alicia’s look, a custom red off-the-shoulder pinstripe suit from the Moncler x EE72 collection by Edward Enninful, was meant to be a statement moment. The puffy stole? Divine. The beaded headpiece? Glorious. But the tailoring on those trousers had me wishing they’d stayed on the cutting room floor just a little longer.
The proportions weren’t helping her, especially when this was supposed to be a power suit moment. It’s a shame, because this marked a huge moment for Edward Enninful—the debut of his design work post-editorial, and I really wanted to love it for that alone.
There’s promise here, and definitely some strong ideas, but for me, the magic was lost in the details… or rather, the fit. The same applies to Swizz Beatz, who completed his look with Santoni shoes.
