Doechii Wore Donna Karan To Billboard Women In Music 2025

Doechii is on a winning streak, and she’s making sure we know it—both in accolades and in fashion. Fresh off her Outstanding Music Artist Award win at the GLAAD Media Awards, she was crowned Woman of the Year at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music ceremony in Los Angeles last nigth. And while her speech was a powerful call to action on inclusion and sexism in the industry, her red carpet moment was an equally bold statement in its own right.

Wearing a Donna Karan Fall 2014 chocolate brown dress, Doechii gave us sensuality without stepping into the overdone “naked dress” territory. The sheer panels played a game of peekaboo, but it was all about balance—elegance with a sultry edge, the perfect sweet spot.

Then came the bag. A multi-coloured, embellished vintage Fendi baguette that, at first glance, seemed like an unlikely match for the dress. But Doechii isn’t here to do predictable. The contrast gave the look a jolt of personality—her signature styling stamp. Though, some might feel that the coin-accented belt and bracelets took things into belly dancer territory. I love how the inject yet more of her personality into the look.
