Sarah Jessica Parker Wore Carolina Herrera To The New York City Ballet 2023 Fall Fashion Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the New York City Ballet 2023 Fall Fashion Gala held at David H. Koch Theater on Thursday (October 5), as the Gala Chair.

There are two sides to the fence when it comes to Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carolina Herrera black long sleeve, off-shoulder midi dress from the Fall 2023 collection.

You will either love how the look imbued the romance of the ballet, as she channelled her inner black swan in this tulle tutu inspired dress.

Or the look was too literal. Too Carrie Bradshaw.

Or… If I may.  Add a third side to this now triangular shaped fence, by asking, did the accessories overcook the look?

I adore the dress, and how the Vacheron Constantin Heures Créatives Heure Romantique timepiece complemented one of her SJP Collection Dish sandals – which have always been marketed as mis-matched sandals.

But I would change the Benedetta Bruzziches Lollo crystal-embellished satin shoulder bag for a clutch, despite the fact that SJP does love “carry-all” bags on the red carpet.
