Kim Kardashian Wore Rick Owens To The Daily Front Row’s 7th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards
Kim Kardashian attended the Daily Front Row’s 7th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday (April 23) in Beverly Hills, California, where she presented the Hair Artist of the Year to her stylist Chris Appleton.
This was Kim’s first red carpet event of the year, and the first since the Balenciaga scandal from November 2022, so while she has been wearing Balenciaga on her Instagram, she avoided any backlash by wearing a look from the Rick Owens Spring 2023 collection on this occasion.
I’m sure some of you are feeling that this look appears homemade, especially when looking at the bandeau, but my first thought was that this was reminiscent of her own Skims Swim bandeau and beach sarongs.
The Rene Caovilla Supercleo embellished leather sandals and a silver Dior by John Galliano choker from the Spring 2003 collection tried to help force the edgy vibe she was going for, but ultimately, this whole look fell flat for me.
We’ve seen this a thousand times before from Kim, only much more successfully.
