Rihanna And Hailey Bieber Were Twinning In Loewe’s Striped Polo Top

Hailey Bieber and Rihanna were redefining date night style – showing that casual is the way forward – while headed out with respective partners – Justin Bieber and A$AP Rocky – within days of each other.

Hailey Bieber was the first to step out in this Loewe striped polo style top with Levis 501 low-rise baggy jeans, an oversized leather bomber, Miu Miu’s Wander Matelassé bag, Bottega Veneta Tex mules, and Saint Laurent 557 shades.

Rihanna’s maternity style often serves up belly baring looks, so I wasn’t surprised to see her tap into her signature style by making this Loewe piece a crop top.

When it comes to Rihanna’s styling, it feels less curated, despite the designer labels which included a Louis Vuitton clutch, Timberlands, a the Rolex Day-Date timepiece and a single Y/Project F* U earring.

Aside from the matching top, both displayed a love for low-rise jeans.

In Rihanna’s case it’s probably more of a necessity, but in Hailey’s case, she has been part of the low-rise revolution along with Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid.

Low-rise jeans were popular with the likes of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, which seem to serve as a purpose to showcase lower back tattoos.

Today’s low-rise jean are wider, slouchier silhouettes, long inseams, and rises that sit underneath the waist, yet I’m not convinced the trend has captured the imagination of the masses as it did the first time around.
