Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the menswear looks that have graced the red carpet this week.

Damson Idris’ Prada dark brown tuxedo featuring black faille lapels made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

It’s the impeccable cut, fit and styling of this look for me.

After being disappointed by the trouser length of every look that Michael B. Jordan has worn this week, this restores my faith in Hollywood based tailors.

I wouldn’t have thought that brown and black would be so harmonious, but the deep shade of brown ensures this was a flaw free look.

Jay Ellis attended the 2023 AAFCA Awards wearing Fendi.

You’ll be delighted to see that celebrities are now moving onto the Fall 2023 Men’s collection, but this is now the second time in a week that we are seeing this suit, as ‘White Lotus’ actor Leo Woodall wore it to the SAG Awards.

I’m glad that Jay’s stylist made this look unique to him with the styling, but at this point it feels like Fendi are only loaning out one style of suit per season.

Or two if you count Alejandro Speitzer’s masterpiece.

I’m not sure how I missed Theo James at the SAG Awards, so thanks to those of you who pointed out the omission.

‘The White Lotus’ actor was looking very smart wearing a Louis Vuitton shawl lapel black suit paired with a subtly checkered Louis Vuitton tie and a flashy gold OMEGA Speedmaster timepiece.

Now this is how you turn up for awards season.

Skyh Black of ‘All The Queen’s Men’ was looking very dapper at the NAACP Image Awards wearing a Grayscale tuxedo.

Never underestimate the power of a colourful blazer for a black-tie event.

Jabari Banks wore Wales Bonner suit to the NAACP Image Awards, but the fine tailoring was upstage by his python print Wales Bonner Kora boots.

Andy Serkis joined his ‘Luther: The Fallen Sun’ co-stars Idris Elba and Cynthia Ervio for the global premiere.

The actor, who will be playing the villain in the film, wore a look that is instantly recognisable for the tribal print which is a signature for the London based designer Ozwald Boateng.

This is yet another example of how one piece can instantly transform an entire look.
