Adele Wore Givenchy For Her ‘Weekends with Adele’ Las Vegas Residency

Back in January, Adele cancelled her Las Vegas residency with just one day’s notice, but this weekend she finally started her much-anticipated set of concerts.

‘Weekends with Adele’ will stretch over five months at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a venue that has previously hosted residencies from Celine Dion, Cher, Madonna and Elton John. 

When it comes to her tour wardrobe, I can’t see Adele giving us many surprises.

Adele and her stylist Jamie Mizrahi will always serve up a tour wardrobe that is filled with stylish and timeless black gowns. 

This year we’ve seen her in Schiaparelli Haute Couture and Louis Vuitton performing at BST Hyde Park.

And Armani Privé at the Brit Awards, but on this occasion, she wore a custom Givenchy Haute Couture black silk crepe off-shoulder draped gown featuring a halter strap embroidered with crystals which was designed by Matthew M. Williams.

It has everything you expect in terms of colour, fit and a touch of embellishment. 

I’m very much in the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it,” mindset when it comes to Adele’s tour wardrobe.

Between her style of music and her audience, I don’t see her rolling around the stage in an embellished Zuhair Murad catsuit anytime soon; and I wouldn’t want that for her anyway.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels perfectly complemented the gown.
