Kylie Jenner Wore Vintage Mugler To The Thierry Mugler: Couturissime Exhibition

There was one more guest who attended the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibition which made its US debut at the Brooklyn Museum in New York on Tuesday (November 15).

I saw that Kylie Jenner was on the list of attendees, but her pictures had not been approved when I completed the original post this morning.

It would be remiss of us to not take notice of Kylie’s style transformation from Internet baddie to someone who is seemingly taking a keen interest in high fashion.

Most notably vintage fashion, and she was in the right place as Thierry Mugler’s archive has decades worth of pieces to select from.

The makeup mogul wore a vintage Thierry Mugler Fall 1995 Haute Couture black gown which perfectly demonstrates the designer’s avant-garde, architectural, hyperfeminine and theatrical approach to Haute Couture.

This is her second vintage Mugler red carpet look in a row following the 2022 CFDA Awards.

Kylie’s look was styled with an exquisite Mugler Fall 1999 headpiece with bejewelled tendrils that would’ve saved her from having to add earrings to this look, but she did anyway.

You weren’t impressed with the other attendees at this event, so how does Kylie’s look fare?

Personally, I think this is one of Kylie’s best red carpet looks.  I’m drawn to the drama, and the sex appeal of it all.

Plus I’m intrigued by the silhouette which is even more exaggerated on Kylie.
