When I saw Léa Seydoux on the red carpet for the ‘One Fine Morning’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Sunday (September 11) in Ontario, my first reaction was to blame the fact that she perhaps didn’t understand that TIFF has gone full glam now.

But that would be deflecting from what our eyes are forced to witness here.

The shorts from the Resort 2023 collection were a good starting point, and I’m grateful that they had been shortened, but the styling killed any possibilities of making this work.
