Front Row @ Dior Fall 2022 Haute Couture
Maria Grazia Chiuri presented the Dior Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection in Paris on Monday (July 4), with a few new celebrity faces in the front row.
Considering the last collection presented by Dior was Resort 2023, I was thankful that Zoe Saldana selected this breezy ivory lace and silk look which felt very rustic.
It’s in total contrast to her usual super sleek style, but I love the ease of it all. Even if I’m not totally sold on the style of shoes here.
A Dior belt, and jewelry completed her look.
Naomi Watts wore a Dior Haute Couture Spring 2022 black gown.
Had it not been for the lightness imbued by the flat-pleated silk chiffon fabrication or the fishnet neckline, this would’ve passed me by. This gown was prettier the longer I took it all in.
Dior Fine Jewelry Rose des Vents earrings in yellow gold, diamonds, and mother of pearl, and a Gem Dior bracelet and Bois de Rose ring in yellow gold and diamonds completed her look.
When Elle MacPherson attended the Resort 2023 show, we weren’t fans of how nondescript her look was.
But she did a complete 180 wearing looking fresh and summery Dior Resort 2021 beige dress which I adore for the crochet top.
A Dior bag and shoes completed what is potentially my favourite from this front row.
I’m glad she ditched the belt.
When it comes to red carpet looks things don’t have to match, but Thomasin McKenzie is struggling to sell those grey Dior pumps with that gorgeous Dior Fall 2022 metallic jacquard skirt to me.
Especially considering that she did opt to match her Dior mini bag to her skirt.
Maye Musk was looking as elegant as ever wearing this Dior Spring 2020 multi-colour silk printed dress.
I love how the tones of this dress make it suitable for all seasons.
Lily Aldridge could’ve easily given us a typical glam Lily Aldridge look, so I love how leaned into the heritage of the brand wearing this Dior Resort 2023 suit which featured beautiful contrast embroidery.
Dior shoes and a selection of Dior Fine Jewelry including the Rose Dior Couture ring and earrings in pink gold and diamonds completed her look.
We all know (or knew) Celeste as a Gucci girl for so long. The quirky pieces really suited her style. But with two Dior front rows under her belt, I’m starting to think that the singer has switched allegiance.
This layered tulle Dior Resort 2023 dress feels like she’s moving away from her retro-modern style too, but it’s a huge improvement on the previous look in Dior.
Dior gloves, shoes and belt provided the finishing touches.
What I love about Beatrice Borromeo in this Dior Resort 2023 white silk and lace dress is the feeling that she picked this out of her own personal closet and styled it herself.
You can’t beat an authentic, well-styled look.
I can never resist a cape gown.
Everything about Miki Nakatani’s Dior Spring 2022 Haute Couture velvet fringe opera cloak is telling me that it’s too dark, too heavy for summer, but I simply adore everything about this.
I would’ve loved this even without the small Lady Dior bag and a hand(arm)full of bracelets.
She sells it better than the model on the runway.
