Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Machine Gun Kelly Menswear Red Carpet

Here is a roundup from some of the recent menswear looks which have caught my eye.

Starting with Machine Gun Kelly who made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Thursday (May 26), where he was promoting his new film, ‘Good Mourning.’

As we all know, anything studded and spiked is MGK’s preference, but from time to time he will limit his bling to just his jewels like on this occasion, as he rocked a lush red Kaushik Velendra suit from the brand’s PULSE Spring 2022 collection.

Aside from the colour I love how this look imbues a retro-fresh take on throwback outfits thanks to the ‘70s style collar on his shirt.

Back in the ’70s big collared shirts were usually open down to the waist, with a chunky peace sign pendant, but MGK didn’t take the inspiration that far.

I’m going to assume that the trousers appear that short because he was seated.

Rupert Friend Dolce & Gabbana - “Obi-Wan Kenobi” at Star Wars Celebration

Bravo to Rupert Friend for not wearing black shoes with his Dolce & Gabbana white three-piece double-breasted suit paired with a knit Henley top.

The British actor looked fresh from head-to-toe for the surprise premiere of the first two episodes of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ in California on Thursday (May 26).

Finally menswear summertime footwear has finally entered the chat – even if I do wish the shade of white had matched his suit. At least he tried.

Jay Ellis in Dzojchen - Top Gun Maverick

Jay Ellis continues to be the best dressed male star from ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’

The actor made a guest appearance on ‘The Today’ show wearing a rich burgundy Dzojchen set with burgundy Christian Louboutin ‘Charlie Me’ loafers which were the icing on the cake for me.

He never lets me down.

Gents.  It’s time to get out your flared trousers because it’s clear the ‘70s are back, as KJ Apa demonstrates rocking this Valentino Pre Fall 2022 suit from the After Party collection to a CW Celebration in New York City.

I would happily wear this colourful ‘V’ logo shirt myself.
