Dundas @ amfAR Gala Cannes 2022
The amfAR Gala Cannes 2022 took place at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 26) in France, with Peter Dundas dressing four gorgeous ladies for the occasion.
Ciara was of course hosted at the Peter Dundas table, as they became close friends when he designed her wedding dress.
For a custom design, Iâm a little disappointed.
It doesnât hold a candle to any of her previous looks from the same designer.
This looks rushed, like it was sewn hoursâ (or 45 minutes)â before the event. Dundas can do so much better. Ciara wouldâve been better off with something off-the-rack.
The only thing I like about this is the pink hue.
When it comes to matching pink gloves, I guess they make sense for a gala, but the Messika jewellery worn over it? This trend needs to stop.
Natasha Poly is one of many who wore the open back laced up gown from Dundas Pre-Fall 2021 collection, so I guess it was only a matter of time for the design to place that laced detail at the front.
Did she pull off this custom Coco gown worn with a matching black jet-embellished bra top?
Of course she did. The design, even if you donât love it, is very much in tune with the Dundasâ style.
The laced up details continued on Frida Aasen’s white Electra long sleeve gown from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection.
I think this is my favourite of the quartet. Sexy, but not so in your face.
Joan Smallsâ custom Dundas gown is beautiful.
This nude mesh is much more seamless than Isabeli Fontanaâs Cavalli gown from the night before.
However, I think this wouldâve been much more dynamic in black rather than in silver gunmetal. What do you think?
Who is your favourite here?
