Michelle Dockery joined her co-star Joanne Froggatt for the ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ New York premiere held at the Metropolitan Opera House on Sunday (May 15).

The actress continued to serve us embellishment during this promo tour going from a princess style in Valentino to an edgier aesthetic in Givenchy.

I feel like this dress looked to the power shoulders of the ’80s for inspiration, as the pads help to bring structure to this columnar silhouette.

All-over sequin embellishments enhanced the sleek design, subtly glistening under evening sun, but this look really comes alive when you see the open back.

The sleekness was amplified with her bob hairstyle.
