Lea Michele Wore Balmain To Their Madison Avenue Flagship Celebration

Balmain and Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, returned to New York City to celebrate the Madison Avenue store.

Opened in September 2020 (during the pandemic), the Upper East Side flagship pays homage to the brand’s first American store that previously opened in 1970 a few blocks down at 795 Madison Avenue.

Lea Michele was the star attracting giving us a summery look to purr over.

The actress wore a Balmain scarf-neck jacquard mini dress which thanks to the buttons felt nautical inspired.

What isn’t so obvious is the monogram detail throughout which could mean a return to the logomania trend.

On this occasion it’s done in a subtle Parisian way.

While I like the gold sandals with this look, the Balmain Ely bag kinda edged this into ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ terrority.

I would’ve preferred a clutch here.
