Helen Mirren Wore Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda To The 2022 SAG Awards

Helen Mirren is the recipient of this year’s Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award — and the Hollywood icon was dressed to impress on Sunday (February 27) as she strutted down the 2022 SAG Awards red carpet in Los Angeles.

The actress gave a whole new meaning to “pretty in pink” with her decadent Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda custom silk crepe gown, which was adorned with Venetian glass embellishments for an added, spring-friendly flair.

Helen accessorized the sweet look with Harry Winston diamonds that played into the pink-centric palette, along with a bow-accented Judith Leiber clutch that gave the classic look a little extra structure.

Simply put, the look is darling — yet, it’s also a style that I imagine even some of Hollywood’s most fashionable actress would have a difficult time pulling off. That is, of course, unless you’re as iconic (and seamlessly elegant) as Dame Helen Mirren.
